Clubs & Teams

Sports

Each year, students in grades 4, 5 and 6 have the opportunity to represent our school on a variety of sports teams.

The teams are coached by teachers and usually practice during our lunch recess in preparation for a one day tournament.

Some of the sports our students participate in include soccer, volleyball, badminton, basketball, and track and field.

Clubs & Activities

Our school runs a variety of clubs throughout the school year.

In past school years, we've had a chess club, a social club, a reading club, a lunchtime games club, a hockey club, and even clubs sponsored by the the Vanier Community Service Centre and the Ottawa Sport Council.

Aboriginal After School Program: In collaboration with Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health, we run a weekly after school program designed to celebrate the cultures of Canada’s First Nations, Inuit and Métis people. Learning opportunities involve crafts, indoor and games, storytelling, and cultural teachings. Students also have access to homework club and will be served a hot meal at the end of the night.
